Dr. Kermit McGregor (Transitional Pastor)
Dr. McGregor is well known and loved throughout the
state of Mississippi. He will be serving as
transitional pastor in the coming months at
Hillcrest.

Rev. Phillip Jason Blackburn (Minister of Children and
Media) has been a full time staff member of Hillcrest Baptist Church since April 1995. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible from Blue Mountain College. He has served as Minister of Children and Youth, Education and Evangelism, and Children and Evangelism before becoming our Minister of Children and Media. He has been involved in mission work in British Columbia, Illinois, Tennessee, Mississippi, Washington, Texas and Georgia. He oversees the Hillcrest The Children's Ministry, T.V. Ministry, and The Hillcrest Day School Ministry. Bro. Jason is married to Kelly Jackson Blackburn. They have one daughter, Madeline and one son, Mac.

Rev. Donald "Don" E. Chandler (Minister of Music) has served in full-time ministry for years. He has a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Music and Bible from Blue
Mountain College. He has served as Minister
of Music and Youth before becoming our Minister
of Music. He has been involved in the State
Children's
Choir Festival and youth mission trips in Mississippi,
Ohio and Colorado. Some of his ministries include
Minister of Worship, Sanctuary Choir, Hillcrest
Orchestra, Grade Choir for Children and our
School of Fine Arts. Don has been our Worship
Leader
since November of 1998. He and his wife Katie have
three children: Will, Anne Marie, and Caleb.

Derek Fortenberry started full time youth ministry at Hillcrest in 2009.
He is from Oxford, MS and is married to Shannon
Fortenberry.

Bobby Moorman (Building and Grounds Director) has served as Building and Grounds Director since August
1996. His wife, Kim, is a teacher at East Union
Attendance Center. They have one son, Tyler.

Michelle Armstrong (Office Manager) has
served as part-time secretary since April 2004.
Her husband, Mike, is the Building Inspector
for New Albany. They have four children, Emily,
Brandon, Mackenzie, and Mason.

Mary Alice Ivy (Preschool Director) has
served as Dayschool Director since August 2002.
She also serves as Director of the Nursery
and Preschool at Hillcrest. She received her
Bachelor
of Science Degree in Math from Mississippi
University for Women. She retired from the
Union County
School System with 29 years of service. Mary
Alice is a charter member of Hillcrest Baptist
Church and has worked with preschoolers since
age 17. Her husband, Darrell, is owner of The
Image Place Photography Studio and is also
a charter member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
They
have 3 children: Rob, Alison Ivy Moore, and
Will. They also have4 grandchildren: Maggie,
Kate,
Jake and Elizabeth.
